As with the humble beginnings of the MONTE Restaurant Development Group of Gennaro and Lino DiMeo, Squisito Franchise Enterprises, Inc. began with the partnership of Gennaro and Michele DiMeo in spring of 2008. Michele joined the MONTE Restaurant Development Group to streamline and assist Gennaro with the corporate and Franchise expansion of his fast-casual brand, Squisito Pizza and Pasta. With this powerful union of conceptual restaurant experience– Gennaro DiMeo, with Michele DiMeo’s franchise and executive operations / leadership experience – Squisito Franchise Enterprises, Inc began.

Mrs. DiMeo has been our Principal-Franchise Operations and President of Squisito Franchise Enterprises, INC since our inception in May 2010. Since July 2008, she has been Chief Operating Officer for MONTE Restaurant Development Group headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland. Since January 2009, she has owned and operated three Squisito NY Pizza and Pasta Restaurants in Maryland. From February 2006 to April 2008, she was National Strategic Sourcing Operations Manager for The Siegfried Group location in Wilmington, Delaware. From 1996 to January 2006, she was Regional Vice President/Director for L.A. Weight Loss Centers in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
Director of Concept Development
Mr. DiMeo is the founder and creator of Squisito fast, fresh, casual brand. Gennaro DiMeo has been our Director of Concept Development since our inception in May 2010. Since 1998, he has owned and operated several Squisito Pizza and Pasta Restaurants in Maryland. Since 2005, he has owned and operated the MONTE Restaurant Development Group, the parent company for all corporate stores, headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland. From 2006 to 2016, he has owned and operated 4 Seasons Grille in Gambrills, Maryland and since 2008, Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen and Wine Bar in Annapolis, Maryland.
Technical Operations Director / Franchisee Support
Mr. DesLauriers is currently serving as the Technical Operations Director for the MONTE RDG/ Squisito Franchise Enterprises, Inc. since our inception in May 2010. He has assisted in operating and has been the on-site training manager for several locations. Mr. DesLauriers brings his extensive experience in Graphic Design and Advanced Restaurant Technology to the team specializing in Point Of Sale, website design and online / in-store technologies. He has been the General Manager of the Squisito® Glen Burnie Location, Carmines’ Family Kitchen in Sterling, VA, as well as the assistant manager for Pomo Grille, Bowie, MD (All managed by the MONTE RDG). Mr. DesLauriers has received degrees in Hospitality Management as well as Restaurant Management in addition to completing a 4 year vocational program for Culinary Arts and Hospitality.
Controller / AR Support
Mr. Hamilton has been employed by MONTE RDG / Squisito® Franchise Enterprises, INC. since June 2013. Operating as our Accounts Receivable and Controller, his duties included compiling sales, inventory, and cost statistics for tracking purposes. He aids the District Manager and Owners in monitoring these same practices. He assists in the procurement and monitoring of pricing by suppliers and corporate consistency. Scott completes P&L statements and files state sales taxes. Previous positions included General Manager of Old Salem Tavern, Bookkeeper at Starz as well as River House Bed and Breakfast (North Carolina).
Advertising and Marketing Manager / Franchisee Support
Ms. McGrath has been serving as the Advertising and Marketing Manager for the MONTE RDG / Squisito Franchise Enterprises, Inc. since June 2017. She is a certified Master Trainer with AllerTrain and has trained over 50 restaurants, country clubs, schools and food service facilities on the East Coast. Ms. McGrath has brought her years of experience in social media content creation, social media advertising, Google AdWords, and marketing analytics to the team. Ms. McGrath helps build the foundation for local marketing and community outreach programs through research and networking for each franchisee/ franchised location.
Area Culinary Director / Franchisee Support
Mr. Nolasco is currently serving as the Area Culinary Director for the Monte Restaurant Development Group and Squisito Franchise Enterprises, Inc. He got his start in the kitchen in 2007 as a line cook and worked his way up to lead cook and kitchen manager and joined the Monte Restaurant Development Group in 2012. Throughout the years he has honed his culinary skills in cuisines such as Italian, Mediterranean and Latin in both fast casual and fine dining atmospheres. In addition to his culinary background he brings his skills in hiring, training and managing kitchen employees to the Squisito Franchise team.
